At the KOKU we are interested in the origins of social thinking and behavior and how it develops in infants and toddlers. What does your child think when she sees you stacking three bricks? How do children perceive their environment? Which aspects of the behavior and purposes of other people do they understand? How do they begin to make themselves understandable for others? Over a very short time span, your child will make huge progress in thinking and speaking. But what are the small, often unremarkable steps which lead to this development? At the KOKU we are investigating these questions scientifically. |
