BMBF:Socioeconomic/immigrant status and early cognitive development
The project was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (2014-2018) and investigated the influence of parental interaction on the cognitive origins of cultural learning, especially on prelinguistic communication. The international project, co-lead by Prof. Aylin Küntay und Prof. Ulf Liszkowski compared also the social-cognitive development of infants from different (sub-)cultural groups in Istanbul, Turkey and Hamburg, Germany.
